Summarize: The full name of KML is Keyhole Markup Language. This tool converts a feature layer into a KML file containing a translation of geometries and symbology. The file can be read by any KML client including ArcGIS Explorer, ArcGlobe, and Google Earth. Diagram: Point - features

Example: 1. Import a shapefile.
2. See Attribute table
3. Using [Symbol] → [Categories], select the NAME_3 field. Shown:
4. Select the layer and right-click the mouse, click [Export] → [KML].
5. Pop up the [Export to KML] dialog. If the placemark name selects Name*, the placemark name is same as the layer name.
6. Open the KML file with Google Earth. Click a feature, show a table that contains the contents in the attribute table.
